Well friends I am grateful to know what it feels like to be held in our Heavenly Fathers arms. As most of you know my momma passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2009--between 10:30-11:00pm. Our God is so amazing. We (Rob, Tyler, Lacey and friends from church) had been to a Christian concert on Sunday evening, we heard 10th Ave North sing, By Your Side, Jeremy Camp sing, There Will Be A Day and MercyMe sing many songs, including I Can Only Imagine. God has been working on me and preparing me.
He has given me 2 scriptures lately, Psalm 121:1&2-I lift my eyes up to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and Earth.
and Isaiah 40:28-31Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the Everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.
God allowed me the precious gift of a phone call to my mom after the concert, I called her about 9:56 pm and talked about 7 minutes. During the ride home I received a voicemail from my stepdad saying he had called an ambulance for my momma, around 10:30 she had trouble breathing and passed out, she never came to again. I will never forget that night or the blessing of that phone call. Friends and family are sending cards and prayers and phone calls my way and I couldn't make it without your love and support. When I can figure out how to scan pictures I will do a tribute to my mom. God also allowed me the chance to speak at her memorial service last Saturday. I hope I made her proud. More later..... Count your blessing name them one by one, and it will suprise you what the Lord hath done. Please keep praying, we are having her burial on Saturday, April 18th. Love ya'll! :)

Tina you are such a great mom, wife, and friend - and I have no doubt that your mother couldn't have asked for a better daughter. May God comfort you and your family.
